Ludhiana, May 30, 2023: United Cycle & Parts Manufacturers Association (UCPMA) organized a Session on Bicycle Standardisation of Bicycle Frames, Forks & Mudguards in association with the Bureau of Indian Standards to facilitate the evaluation of the draft standards for frames, forks, and mudguards. The industry inputs were sought for the expertise and invaluable input ensuring that these standards meet the highest quality requirements and align with industry best practices.
Chief Guest Rakesh Pathak General Manager of Research and Development Institute for Bicycles and Sewing Machines said that the inputs received from the industry will help us refine and finalize these standards to meet the needs and expectations of our customers. Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO said that the standardization of the products will not only improve the production, but it will improve the market share of the products, especially in the global market.
