UCPMA receives subsidy of China Tour 2012

A meeting of UCPMA, Ludhiana being held on Tuesday.

Ludhiana, August 6, 2013: United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association (UCPMA) president Gurmeet Singh Kular has informed that subsidy of China Tour 2012 to the tune of Rs. 14,28,446 applied by 44 members has been received from the Union Ministry of Finance Government of India.

“We pay our gratitude to Manish Tiwari, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, K.H Muniyappa Guru , Union Minister of MSME, Madhav Lal, Secretary MSME, Amrindra Sinha, Development Commissioner MSME and Additional Secretary and S.S Dhillon Director MSME Ludhiana for the same”, he said.

The subsidy has been given under the International Cooperation Scheme of MSME for the uplift of cycle industry. The association and whole cycle industry will remain indebted to the GoI for this noble cause, he said.

He also said previously Rs. 2,65,000 for Bike Expo -2012, Rs. 15,71,000 for India International Cycle expo- 2013 have been received and disbursed to members by the UCPMA.

He was addressing a meeting of the UCPMA, Ludhiana held today. The meeting was attended by Manjinder Singh Sachdeva, Co-Convener Exhibition & International Tours and Rajeev Jain.
