UIFT student participated in National Level Youth Conclave 2023 as part of World Environment Day Celebrations
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change organised Youth Parliament on LiFE for young people to discuss and debate on various environmental aspects and come up with solutions to promote sustainable living.
Chandigarh June 6, 2023: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change organised Youth Parliament on LiFE for young people to discuss and debate on various environmental aspects and come up with solutions to promote sustainable living.
Arsh Garg, a first year student of B.Sc Fashion and Lifestyle Technology from University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development, Panjab University participated in the conclave and got selected for stage II, which was held at Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal. The students selected from different states and union territories of the country participated in this conclave. The stage II involved Experts sessions, group discussions, solo speeches on different environmental topics like save water, save energy, single use plastic.
Sharing his experience Arsh Garg said, “This opportunity was a great learning experience where I participated not only to share my thoughts but also got to learn many new ideas about how to save our environment from different experts. More over interaction with students from all over India created a great bond with many participants as it was a fun as well as a great enriching experience.”
