UILS One week Induction Programme concludes
The University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) organized one week induction program featuring special lectures on gender sensitization, environment law and stress management followed by committee presentations focused on important issues relevant to the legal fraternity and society at large.
Chandigarh, July 25, 2024: The University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) organized one week induction program featuring special lectures on gender sensitization, environment law and stress management followed by committee presentations focused on important issues relevant to the legal fraternity and society at large.
The highlight of the final day was a thought-provoking oration by Dhananjay on "Gender Sensitization Among Youth", which underscored the imperative need for gender awareness and sensitivity in today's world and law. Dhananjay's insightful presentation displayed a meaningful discussion on promoting inclusivity and challenging gender stereotypes.
Other notable sessions included a lecture by Adv. Anirudh Nanda, a distinguished alumnus of UILS, on "Eco-Conscious Lawyers in Today's Time", emphasizing the significance of environmental awareness in the legal profession. Adv. Nanda's participation underscored the institute's strong alumni network and their contribution to the legal community.
Additionally, Dr. Shruti Shourie presented on "Stress Management", offering valuable techniques for managing stress, which will greatly benefit the first-year students as they navigate their new campus environment.
Shortly after, various committees were introduced to the first-year students, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the extracurricular opportunities available at UILS.
