Umeed 2021 job fair held successfully at SBS Campus for providing employment opportunity to 100s of ITI Graduates, Engineers, MBA

Ludhiana: ‘UMEED’ – the Annual Job Fair of Synetic Business School (SBS College) was organized with full enthusiasm at SBS Campus on Chandigarh Road, here, following complete COVID-19 protocols. Candidates were divided in slots and interviews were conducted in batches maintaining all precautions. Umeed Job Fair offers a platform for job seekers and industry looking for candidates to manage and grow their business.
The job fair was organised in collaboration with the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, Ludhiana, Govt. of Punjab. Navdeep Singh and Harpreet Singh of DBEE alongwith with their team members aided the success of the Job Fair. With this DBEE started the 7th State level MEGA JOB FAIR in Ludhiana District.
Mohammad Gulab, Vice Chairman Backfinco was the chief guest on the occasion, while Mulana Usman Ludhianvi, Lucky Sandhu, District President Punjab Youth Congress were the guests of honour.
Mohd Gulab said that the Capt Amarinder Singh led Punjab government is committed for the welfare of youth and that is why several such job fairs are being organised on a large scale in the state.
This year more than 500 manufacturing and service sector companies and 1000s of students from across colleges and institutes were invited for Umeed 2021. Of which, around thirty companies and close to 400 students grabbed the opportunity for entry level job placement. Notably companies ICICI Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Coca Cola, Rockman Industries, Airtel, Kangroo Industries, Exide Life Insurance, Vardhaman, Mansha Financial Services, etc. participated in the Job Fair.
Dr Zafar Zahir, MD & Principal of SBS informed, “Umeed is an endeavor of SBS to provide employment opportunity to the graduate and postgraduate students of Punjab and develop a sense of purpose and pride in them.
Dr Ghazala the Chairperson of the college told that Umeed Job Fair was a grand success as more than 150 students were short listed for final selection by the companies and gave the credit to the faculty and students of the college for making it happen.
