Bahadurgarh, May 12, 2024: Congress Candidate from Rohtak LS, Deepender Hooda said that pre-2004 jungle raj has returned to Haryana and record unemployment is the biggest reason for increasing crime and drug usage in Haryana. He said big gangs, mafia, underage shooters have come into existence in the state.
“Serious incidents like firing, extortion, murder and robbery happening every day prove that Haryana has become a haven for criminals, and the general public is forced to live in an atmosphere of fear. Businessmen and even many MLAs of the state have been receiving threats across the state,” he said.
“Cases of firing and murder in broad daylight have become common. How can crime be stopped in a state where the Chief Minister says that his government cannot provide security to every person? The present BJP government is responsible for poor law and order,” he added.
He pointed out that during the Chautala government before 2004, criminals used to demand ransom from jails, whereas today under BJP rule, criminals are demanding ransom not only from jails, but also from foreign countries. Due to the failure of the BJP government, the jungle raj of Chautala government before 2004 has returned in Haryana,” he added.
He said that from 2004 to 2014, the Congress government led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda had eliminated crime and criminals from the state by giving open warning to the criminals. “This is the reason that during the Congress regime, there was rapid development and industries were established, but now the industries established during the tenure of Congress also started migrating from here and unemployment started creating new records,” he said.
Deepender said that when the Haryana Congress government is formed, crime and unemployment will be curbed on priority. “By making the state crime free, an investment environment will be created so that the young generation gets employment and development takes place in a safe environment in the state,” he said.
Deepender today visited Bahadurgarh villages Ladrawan, Kulasi, Kanonda, Khairpur, Mukundpur, Bamnoli, Barahi, Sankhol, Ward No. 31, 20, 21, 7, 18, 17, 27, 30, Paranala, Chhotu Ram Nagar, Omaxe City and appealed to vote for the Congress. He was accompanied by Bahadurgarh MLA Rajendra Joon and Congress MLA from Rajasthan Dr. Shikha Mile Barala.
Deepender Hooda assured the people that their blessing will not go in vain and will form the government in Chandigarh through Delhi. While placing the report card of his work in front of the public, Deepender said the Congress is seeking the support and vote of people on the basis of our work, while the BJP leaders are busy misleading the public on hollow slogans and false promises.
“But now people are not going to fall into the trap of BJP. This is the reason why today the BJP government of the state is in minority. Seeing the defeat in the elections, BJP changed the face of the government in Haryana just before the elections,” he added. He also described the guarantees of Congress' Nyaya Patra. Enumerating the work done during his tenure, he said that the BJP government does not have a new work of its own to put before the people.
