UNITY RUN PROGRAM AT DIPS COLLEGE ON NATIONAL UNITY DAY

Jalandhar: DIPS College of Education Dhilwan organized Unity Run Program on National Unity Day. In this, the children and the staff members together ran around the college. Students gave information about the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the importance of this day.
They told that every year on 31 October this day is celebrated as the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. He made various efforts to maintain the unity of the country, due to which he is also known as the Iron Man of India.
The members and students of Youth Service Club, NSS and Red Ribbon Club took a pledge to maintain the unity, integrity, security of the country with full devotion. Principal Mukesh Sharma said that just as we all have joined this race with love, brotherhood and unity, in the same way, we should also participate in the race to take our country on the new path of progress without forgetting any caste or religion. Every person should do best work according to his ability so that our country can touch new heights.
