University of Southern California, LA to collaborate with Panjab University

Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Southern California, USA visited Panjab University, Chandigarh for possible academic and research collaborations with University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. University of Southern California is one of the top universities of USA with a ranking of #116 in QS World University Ranking, 2024.
Chandigarh, January 16, 2024: Professor Vassilios Papadopoulos, Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Dr Gauri Rao, Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Southern California, USA visited Panjab University, Chandigarh for possible academic and research collaborations with University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. University of Southern California is one of the top universities of USA with a ranking of #116 in QS World University Ranking, 2024.
Professor Harsh Nayyar, Director, Research & Development, informed about various aspects of MOUs and research collaborations with Panjab University. He specifically highlighted about adjunct faculty, dual degree programs, online lectures, joint research supervision, scientific exchange of faculty and students. Professor Anil Kumar, Chairperson, UIPS, gave a brief presentation about the UIPS. They interacted with all faculty members of UIPS and explored possible avenues for fruitful collaborations. Professor Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, encouraged research and academic collaboration including twinning program/dual degree in Master’s and Bachelor’s programs of pharmacy. Professor Kewal Krishan, Dean International Students, formally presented the vote of thanks to all the guests with a token of gratitude. Professor Poonam Piplani, Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Ranju Bansal, Professor, Dr Alka Bali, Dr Anurag Kuhad, Dr Neelima Dhingra, Dr Sangeeta P Sah, Dr Vandita Kakkar, Dr Amita Sarwal, Dr Sandip Pawar and Dr Ranjana Bhandari were present during the program.
