Jalandhar, January 18, 2025: Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of the Vasal Education  conducted a Capacity Building Programme, CBSE workshop on Art Integration, on Saturday. 

The CBSE workshop attended by 60 educators was to provide insight and upgradation exercise to enable them to integrate subjects in alignment with the requirements of the NEP 2020 and unleash the power of art in education for a joyful learning experience.

Guiding the workshop were the esteemed Dr. Nafees Bhambi and Anita Gareja, luminary in the world of education.  The workshop revolved around the concept of art integration, a powerful pedagogical approach that seamlessly blends the arts with conventional subjects. The opening session of the workshop, was an introduction to the foundational elements of art – line, shape, color, value, space, texture, and form. Led by experts in the field, the session delved into the significance of these elements in art creation and expression. Educators were exposed to the ways in which these elements could be utilized to enhance students’ understanding of various subjects, transcending traditional teaching boundaries. Patiently addressing the queries of enthusiastic educators, the affable resource persons Dr. Nafees Bhambi and Anita Gareja, through their intellect, guidance and clarity, ensured that every doubt was resolved.

The President of Vasal Education, K.K. Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Ena Vasal, The CEO Raghav Vasal, and The Director Aditi Vasal said that learning is a never ending journey so educators must take advantage of these opportunities to learn every day and these workshops are valuable opportunities for educators to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment. 

The Director Principal  said that the workshop attracted a diverse group of educators and presented educators with a treasure trove of ideas, tools, and strategies to harness the power of visuals in the classroom.
