Unnati – Soaring Towards New Horizon

Jalandhar, April12, 2025: To bid an emotional yet joyful farewell to the outgoing batch of Class XII (Session 2024–25), DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur organized a grand celebration titled “Unnati – Soaring Towards New Horizon.” The event was a perfect blend of gratitude, joy, and inspiration as students, teachers, and guests came together to celebrate the memories and achievements of the senior-most class.

The ceremony was graced by two special guests – Dr. Harpreet, Medical Officer at Civil Hospital, Phillaur, and an alumnus of the 2015 batch, and Ms. Nikita, Guest Service Associate at Marriott Hotels, Canada, from the batch of 2019. Their presence served as an inspiration for the students, reminding them that the journey ahead is full of promise and opportunity.

The students of the current Class XII (Session 2025–26) kick-started the program with a warm welcome dance that filled the air with vibrant energy. A series of lively dance performances were presented, including an engaging performance by the outgoing Class XII students as well. This was followed by fun games, which added laughter and lightheartedness to the occasion, making it a truly memorable day.

After an exciting ramp walk and an engaging question-answer round, **Abhishek Gogna** was crowned as **Mr. Farewell**, while **Aanya** earned the title of **Ms. Farewell**, capturing the hearts of everyone with their poise and confidence.

The **1st Runner-Up** title was awarded to **Navdeep** among girls and **Aayush Gambhir** among boys, both of whom impressed with their grace and thoughtful answers.

Among the **2nd Runners-Up**, **Mauli Sharma** stood out among girls, while **Harnoor Singh** was recognized among boys for their elegance and stage presence.

**Guleen Kaur** was chosen as **Ms. Photogenic**, and **Harshit Sharma** as **Mr. Photogenic**, for their radiant smiles and natural charm.

**Palak Tripathi** and **Anmol preet** captivated the audience with their style and confidence, earning the titles of **Ms. Rampwalk** and **Mr. Rampwalk**, respectively.

The award for **Best Attire** was bagged by **Sanchi Goyal** and **Armaan Singh**, both of whom carried themselves with remarkable elegance and flair.

Lastly, the prestigious title of **Simply the Best** was rightfully awarded to **Jaspreet Kaur** and **Shivang Rana** for their all-round performance, enthusiasm, and exceptional presence.

The Head Boy, Abhishek, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing deep gratitude towards the Principal, teachers, and the entire school fraternity for shaping their futures and instilling strong values.Principal, Dr. Yogesh Gambhir, showered blessings on the outgoing batch. He encouraged the students to stay connected with their alma mater and continue rising in their lives with grace, integrity, and dedication.
