UPSC Civil Services Pre-Exam-2024 concluded peacefully
The UPSC Civil Services Pre-Exam-2024 was held in the district peacefully and smoothly on Sunday. Out of total 5570 candidates, 3122 in part-1 and 3094 appeared in the part-2 at 17 centres set up in various colleges and schools of the Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, June 16, 2024: The UPSC Civil Services Pre-Exam-2024 was held in the district peacefully and smoothly on Sunday.
Out of total 5570 candidates, 3122 in part-1 and 3094 appeared in the part-2 at 17 centres set up in various colleges and schools of the Ludhiana.
The exam was held in two sessions i.e. 9:30 am to 11:30 am (Paper-1) & 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Paper-2).
In the part-1, 1521 males, 1601 females took part and 2448 candidates remained absent. During the part-2, 1502 males and 1592 females participated in the exam. Meanwhile, 2476 candidates were absent.
Deputy commissioner (DC) Sakshi Sawhney said, “We had made elaborate arrangements for the exams and the examinations passed off peacefully". She said that senior officers were deputed to conduct the checking of the centres.
