UPSC civil services-preliminary exam-2024 on June 16 in 17 centres

The UPSC Civil Services-preliminary exam-2024 will be held in 17 various centres in Ludhiana city on June 16 in two sessions i.e. 9:30 am to 11:30 am (Paper-1) & 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Paper-2). The jammers will start functioning in all the centres on June 15.

Ludhiana, June 11, 2024: The UPSC Civil Services-preliminary exam-2024 will be held in 17 various centres in Ludhiana city on June 16 in two sessions i.e. 9:30 am to 11:30 am (Paper-1) & 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Paper-2). The jammers will start functioning in all the centres on June 15. 

The candidates will be allowed to appear in the above exam with the admit card an hour before the start of the exam. Detailed important instructions have already been provided by the UPSC along with the Admit Card. All centre gates will be closed at 9:00 am sharp. After this nobody will be allowed to enter the centres. Adequate police personnel compromising male and female cops will be deployed at each centre and all centres will be covered with frisking by the police department.

The control room for the Civil Services Exam P-2024 (Tel: 0161-4602161) will operate from June 13 (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) and on June 16; it will operate from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. 

Candidates are not allowed to have or use any electronic devices, including mobile phones (even switched off), pagers, pen drives, smart watches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, or any related accessories that could be used for communication during the examination. Use of simple wristwatches is permitted, but any wristwatch with communication capabilities or smart features is strictly prohibited inside the Examination Rooms/Halls. Any violation of these rules will result in disciplinary action, including a ban from future Examinations.
