Valedictory Ceremony of Skill Enhancement Classes at Apeejay

Jalandhar, May 26, 2017: At Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, the valedictory ceremony of Skill Enhancement Classes was successfully concluded today. Under its noble mission of educating youth, Apeejay College organized free Skill Enhancement Classes for students after Matric or 10+2. The main purpose behind this programme was to give vocational guidance to students and help them nurture their latent potentials and skills. Skill Enhancement Classes on English Speaking, Baking and Food Preservation, Web Design, Singing, Music Instrumental, Western Dance, Painting and Drawing, Anchoring and Camera Facing, Photography, Clothes Design were organized for students free of cost. Students from prestigious schools like M.G.N. Public School, Innocent Heart School, Cambridge International, Cambridge International School for girls, Delhi Public School, DIPS, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Police DAV Public School, St. Soldier Divine Public School, Swami Dayanand Model School participated enthusiastically. A rich and vivid cultural programme was organized in which students from these schools participated enthusiastically. Students of Web Designing mesmerized everyone through their power-point presentations. Students shared their experience during these skill enhancement classes through talk show. They thanked the teachers and efforts of the college in nurturing their personality. Students of Music Instrumental gave a power packed guitar presentation which enthralled the audience. Students of music and dance mesmerized the audience through melodious classical and western singing and dance presentations. Students of Fine Arts, Design Exhibited artistic creations.
Principal Dr. Sucharita applauded the efforts of the students and said tht these skill enhancement classes will surely help students to discover their talent and potential. It will prove beneficial for them in choosing a vocation also. Dr. Sunit acquainted the audience with the splendid achievements of the college and its contribution in the field of education.
