Chandigarh, September 21, 2024: To steer the mandate of the Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE), Panjab University, a Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) was co-hosted with University Business School (UBS). The Valedictory Function of the eleven-day SEC on Mastering Basic to Advanced Excel was held.
The Skill Enhancement Course was aimed to equip the participants with the wide-ranging functionality of Microsoft Excel, focusing on practical applications, automation, and AI-driven functions.
The Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, Anurag Aggarwal, MD at PK Industries, addressed the participating students, emphasising how Microsoft Excel survived and thrived through various technology revolutions and unbundling of Excel itself. Excel has withstood the test of time and remains an essential software tool. He emphasised the importance of staying relevant in ever-changing world scenarios, especially in the context of technology and its application. Picking up new skills can help advance budding students in their careers and become more productive.
Aggarwal appreciated the initiative taken by Panjab University through its Centre to help students gain skills beyond their curriculum.
