Vasal Education students landed back from a 15-day USA Summer School Programme

Vasal Education students from Cambridge International School, Dasuya, GEMS Cambridge International School, Hoshiarpur and Ivy World School, Jalandhar, respectively, embarked on a fifteen-day Summer School Programme as a part of the prestigious ‘AccessUSA Summer School Residential Mobility Programme’ - returned to their motherland full of enthusiasm about education and finding paths to learning.  

Vasal Education students landed back from a 15-day USA Summer School Programme

Jalandhar, July 9, 2024: Vasal Education students from Cambridge International School, Dasuya, GEMS Cambridge International School, Hoshiarpur and Ivy World School, Jalandhar, respectively, embarked on a fifteen-day Summer School Programme as a part of the prestigious ‘AccessUSA Summer School Residential Mobility Programme’ - returned to their motherland full of enthusiasm about education and finding paths to learning.  

The educational Programme was hosted by AccessUSA (Michigan College Alliance) in the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) in USA provided participating students with an unparalleled opportunity to think out of the box, explore education options abroad and create independent solutions. 

“Our group of students earned the unique chance to attend this programme with other International students from countries like USA, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Chile and Dubai, respectively and completed 3 credits on campus in courses in different streams like Business and Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Transportation and Design streams”, said the release. 


The curriculum of these courses helped the young explorers to know about learning strategies in USA Universities and Colleges. Where American Professors from the University of Detroit Mercy taught them about editing programs, making functional robots, electronics, logos, designing automobiles, managing business concepts etc.  A visit to the College of Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, lead to the exploration of new dimensions in transportation designing and future of new automobile vehicles. During the visit, the students attended a special Orientation Program in the famous Alma College in Alma City of Michigan. During this programme, these scholars were introduced to the admission procedures, campus life and facilities. In addition to this, they visited the famous “Henry Ford’s Automotive Hall of Fame” (AHF) where they witnessed an antique car show and learned about the origin and history of the world’s famous cars. In Henry Ford’s Automotive Hall of Fame Schools, the curious learners became a part of a talk show hosted by AHF with the Vice President of Ford Industries.

Afternoons were dedicated homework sessions and evenings were spent on cultural events. A planned schedule showed the students every aspect of college life abroad. Meeting with the Zonal Manager of AutoZone Company helped create opportunities for students to understand the work culture in the USA during their tenure of study as well as after completion of degree programs in universities and colleges. The last day, the students were taken for city tours and a boat cruise the Detroit River. The students enjoyed the cruise on the river and explored more about USA and Canada, returning with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm for their academic futures, inspired by the possibilities that lie ahead. 

The Chairman of Vasal Education, Sanjeev Vasal, and CEO, Raghav Vasal, shared in a joint statement saying that the primary vision and goal of Vasal Education has always been to bring the best in school education and infrastructure to our local community. To further expand the opportunities for our students, a collaboration with ACCESSUSA was done during the last sessions. This partnership aims to provide an exceptional platform for students aspiring to pursue higher studies in an international environment. The 15-day summer program at the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) marks the first step towards achieving this objective.
