Vice Chancellor Guru Nanak Dev University Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu today released documentary film & pictorial art work titled “Peacock’s Serenade - Nature’s Elegance in Botanical Gardens of GNDU” depicting visuals of serene landscapes and picturesque vistas portraying National bird peacock forming bustle of satin with its feathers in and around the botanical garden of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
Amritsar, September 18, 2024: Vice Chancellor Guru Nanak Dev University Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu today released documentary film & pictorial art work titled “Peacock’s Serenade - Nature’s Elegance in Botanical Gardens of GNDU” depicting visuals of serene landscapes and picturesque vistas portraying National bird peacock forming bustle of satin with its feathers in and around the botanical garden of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu while releasing the documentary film and pictorial art showcasing “Peacock’s Serenade - Nature’s Elegance in Botanical Gardens of GNDU” prepared by Punjab’s eminent Author, Heritage Promoter, Nature Artist & Former Additional Advocate General Punjab Harpreet Sandhu in collaboration with GNDU with aim to instill sense of pride and belonging within the faculty members, students and visitors to discover and cherish the natural splendors that grace Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and further stated that nature has blessed our State Punjab with colours of every season and beauty of nature around us is one of the greatest blessings of God, so are the mesmerizing natural surroundings of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, the Botanical garden with beautiful flora – fauna, natural serenity and in the lush green landscapes of the University campus.
Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu VC GNDU acknowledged Harpreet Sandhu for conceptualizing the pictorial work showcasing natural beauty of GNDU Campus though his camera lens ranging from dense cover of variety of trees to open grasslands, particularly portraying the National bird of India Peacock which exudes an aura of tranquility, blending seamlessly with the University campus.
