VC of Ayodhya Varsity visits PAU, seeks to forge ties in business management
In a desire to forge bilateral collaboration and strengthen scholastic outreach, Dr Pratibha Goyal, Vice-Chancellor, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, visited the School of Business Studies (SBS), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), and interacted with its faculty.
Ludhiana, January 15, 2024: In a desire to forge bilateral collaboration and strengthen scholastic outreach, Dr Pratibha Goyal, Vice-Chancellor, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, visited the School of Business Studies (SBS), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), and interacted with its faculty.
Having kick-started her career at PAU as business expert, Dr Goyal deliberated on the issues concerning course curriculum, placements, New Education Policy and BASMA guidelines. She also highlighted the accomplishments of Ayodhya University by throwing light on its evolution, organizational set-up, thrust areas and mandate, number of colleges affiliated and number of students enrolled. Dr Goyal further expressed her exuberance to be in touch with alma-mater, PAU through joint venture in the area of business management.
Dr Ramandeep Singh, Director of SBS, said that in the wake of rising unemployment, it was important to promote entrepreneurial spirit and mindset among the youths. “PAU is open to cooperation with like-minded institutes, organizations and universities for the development of entrepreneurship, thus, securing the future of the students via employability and self-employability,” he stated.
Dr Gagandeep Banga, Professor at SBS, while proposing a vote of thanks, apprised Dr Goyal of the recent initiatives taken for the expansion of the business management programmes.
