VC PAU releases Documentary Film on Historical Gurudwara Kartrapur Sahib, Pakistan for citizens of Ludhiana

Ludhiana, June 12, 2023: Meaningful Documentary film titled, “Darshan Didar Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib” depicting Historic Gurudwara Kartaprur Sahib, Pakistan was today released by Vice Chancellor PAU Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal during special show held  for the citizens of Ludhiana organized by the management of Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. The Documentary Film has been directed by Punjab’s eminent Author, Heritage Promoter & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu, portraying the sacred Shrine where Guru Nanak Dev had spent more than eighteen years of his life.

VC PAU Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal after previewing the Documentary film, acknowledged the dedicated efforts of Heritage promoter Harpreet Sandhu for initiating this meaningful pious cause for the society and said that, the Documentary film will definitely be a source of inspiration for the devotees who have yet not paid obeisance at most sacred Shrine since the Kartarpur Corridor has been opened for the public. Principal Chief Commissioner Income Tax Parneet Sachdev, IRS (Retd.) after previewing the Documentary film stated that Harpreet Sandhu has initiated a very pious work by compiling a short Documentary beautifully portraying the Historic Sikh Shrine which as been opened for the people of India after a period of more than four decades. 

President Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Jaspal S Thukral and the management members along with the devotees previewed the Documentary film on Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib and were really touched with the true scenes of this pious shrine and the devotees present during the pious event stated that the scenes captured by Harpreet Sandhu in his Documentary teleported us to the sacred abode of Guru Nanak as it magnificently depicts the historic shrine Kartarpur Sahib, Pakistan. Portrait depicting the Historic Shrine Kartarpur Sahib, Pakistan was presented to the Management of Gurudwara during the event.

Gurpreet Toor, IPS former Inspector General of Police, Dr. Ravinder Sidhu, Photo Artist TPS Sandhu, Prof. Anurag Singh, Former Estate Officer TS Sandhu and several other eminent personalities along with devotees graced the pious event. Harpreet Sandhu Director of the Documentary film thanked Member Parliament Rajya Sabha Sanjeev Arora for his kind support in compiling this Pictorial work for the society.
