The first admission counseling for admission in four-year undergraduate (UG) courses for the session 2024-25 was held today at Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU).

Rohtak, July 3, 2024: The first admission counseling for admission in four-year undergraduate (UG) courses for the session 2024-25 was held today at Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU).

Vice Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singh inspected the admission process in various University Teaching Departments. Vice Chancellor first took stock of the BCA admission counseling process in the Radhakrishnan Auditorium. He took feedback from students seeking admission and their parents. Thereafter, the Vice Chancellor examined the arrangements for the admission counseling process in the four-year B.Com. Course in the Department of Commerce, four-year B.A. (Economics) in the Department of Economics, four-year B.A. (English) in the Department of English and four-year B.Sc. Genetics course in the Department of Genetics. The Vice Chancellor took feedback on the admission counseling process from the respective department heads and faculty members. The Vice Chancellor interacted with the students in each department.

VC Prof Rajbir Singh said that the four-year undergraduate (UG) courses started in MDU under the provisions of NEP-2020 have received a very good response. MDU, with A+ NAAC grading, is included in the list of top 100 universities of India. MDU has emerged as the favorite educational institution of students and parents not only in Haryana but also in the NCR for the university's excellent infrastructure, excellent teaching system, and multidimensional opportunities available for the all-round development of students.

The Vice Chancellor also visited the help desk operated by the Student Welfare Office and took feedback. Director Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee and Dr. Kuldeep Gill accompanied the Vice Chancellor during this visit.
