This was stated by MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh as the chief guest in a one-day first aid and disaster management training program organized today under the aegis of the Youth Red Cross of the university.

Rohtak, June 15, 2024: In life, prevention is the best solution. Whether it is a matter of health or disaster management, prevention and security cover is life-giving. This was stated by MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh as the chief guest in a one-day first aid and disaster management training program organized today under the aegis of the Youth Red Cross of the university.
 
VC Prof. Rajbir Singh asked the Youth Red Cross volunteers to pay special attention to physical and mental health so that they can help the common people in times of need. The Vice Chancellor inspired them to always maintain passion for social and community work and a sense of compassion in the mind.
 
Youth Red Cross Program Coordinator Prof. Anju Dhiman gave the welcome speech. She presented the outline of the program. Pharmaceutical Sciences Department Chairman Prof. Harish Dureeja was the guest of honour.
 
Rohtak Fire Officer Rajbir Dalal told about fire safety measures and management action plan in case of fire. Vishnu Mittar, lecturer of First Aid and Home Nursing, gave information about basic first aid and first aid management during accidents. YRC Volunteers participated in the training program.
