VC Prof Sudesh honored with "National Women Leadership Award" for her unprecedented leadership abilities

Khanpur Kalan, March 3, 2024: Vice Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Prof. Sudesh has been honored with the ''National Women Leadership Award'', for her remarkable contribution in women education and empowerment.
Former judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra, presented this award to Prof Sudesh for her unprecedented leadership abilities at a function held on Sunday in New Delhi.
The award session was presided over by Delhi High Court judge, Justice Dharmesh Sharma. Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti organized this function in collaboration with Delhi State Legal Services Authority on the occasion of International Women's Day Celebration-2024.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudesh said that under the dynamic leadership and inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the Women's University is committed to provide employment-oriented education to the girl students.
On this occasion, Dr. Seema Dahiya, Chairperson of the Law Department of BPSMV, was awarded the National Legal Awareness Award. Dr. Archana Malik, HOD of History and Archeology (BPSMV), also won the second prize in the national suggestion competition for prevention of violence against women.
