Chandigarh, August 9, 2024: Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University today felicitated Manu Bhaker (Arjuna Awardee) and Sarabjot Singh. Both of them secured bronze medals in the Olympic Games 2024 held at Paris.
The VC congratulated them for their success and stated that Panjab University is proud that both of them are students of DAV College, Chandigarh, affiliated to Panjab University.
PU VC wished them success for future events and for next Olympic Games. She also assured them that all type of assistance will be provided to them from PU.
The other dignitaries present during the interaction program were Parents of both the Shooters, Prof Dalwinder Singh (Director Sports, PU CHD), Dr Rakesh Malik (Deputy Director Phy.Edu & Sports, PC CHD), Prof Amanendra Mann (HOD, Physical Education, DAV College, Sector-10, CHD).
