VC PU inaugurated pre-incubator biosciences laboratory (RUSA laboratory)
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig, Panjab University, Chandigarh, inaugurated the pre-incubator biosciences laboratory (RUSA laboratory) at the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh on Tuesday.

Chandigarh, July 11, 2023: The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig, Panjab University, Chandigarh, inaugurated the pre-incubator biosciences laboratory (RUSA laboratory) at the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh on Tuesday.
The RUSA laboratory is well-equipped with various sophisticated instruments including spectrophotometer, sonicator, gel documentation system, ELISA reader and many more. The program was coordinated by Dr. Deepak K. Rahi, Chairman, Department of Microbiology and the co-ordinator of the pre-incubator bio-sciences laboratory.
On this occasion the Vice-Chancellor also inaugurated the handbook of information of the Department of Microbiology. The Chairperson of the department, Dr. Deepak K. Rahi briefed Prof. Renu Vig about the achievements of the department and also discussed various steps being taken for the overall improvement of the department.
The vice chancellor appreciated the efforts made and also discussed some of the key decisions taken to promote research in the University. The students, researchers, and faculty all were encouraged to make use of the RUSA facility.
