Chandigarh, July 12, 2023: Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Prof. Renu Vig inaugurated the RUSA Skill Development Laboratory in Geography on Wednesday.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by RUSA Coordinator Prof. Rajeev K. Puri, Prof. Harsh Nayyar, Director Research & Development Cell, faculty members of the Geography Department and from other departments.
Prof. Gaurav Kalotra, Chairperson, Department of Geography informed that the RUSA Laboratory will help to develop the skills in disaster preparedness and response, field surveying and conducting social surveys for the students of Panjab University.
The research scholars of the department gave the demonstration of the various instruments purchased under the RUSA grant.
