Ved Prachar Mandal Punjab and Bharat Vikas Parishad's Vivekananda Branch organised Vedic Declamation Contest at Police  DAV Public School, Ludhiana with an aim to encourage young speakers to express their thoughts and perspectives, fostering critical thinking and confidence.
Ludhiana, October 9, 2024: Ved Prachar Mandal Punjab and Bharat Vikas Parishad's Vivekananda Branch organised Vedic Declamation Contest at Police  DAV Public School, Ludhiana with an aim to encourage young speakers to express their thoughts and perspectives, fostering critical thinking and confidence. 20 schools participated in the competition, delivered speeches on Vedic culture and contemporary issues.

The event was organised under the guidance of Dr. Anu Verma, the Principal  of the school and was attended by Roshan Lal Arya, Provincial General Secretary of the Mandal.

The program was presided over by Dr. Neetu Sethi, Principal of Modern College of Education, Shergharh Chima and the function was inaugurated by Sushma Mathur, Principal of Mahavir Jain Shikshan Sansthan, Rajeev Kheda, Retired General Manager of Punjab National Bank, and Anubhav Jain, Financial Director of Shifali Group of Schools, by lighting the lamp. 

Prof. Sarojini Saida, Dr. Narinder Sandhu, and Prof. Usha Avasthi were the honorable judges.

The chief Guest, Ar Sanjay Goyal, Technical Expert at Ludhiana Smart City Limited, praised Ved Prachar Mandal's efforts to promote moral values and Indian culture among youth.  Dr. Neetu Sethi emphasized the need for youth to address social problems and overcome negative influences. Awards were presented to the winners by the chief guest. The  Principal of the school, Dr. Anu Verma  applauded the efforts of students and appreciated the organizers who continue to instill values and culture through such events.

First Prize: Moni Kumari, (B.C.M.Sen. Sec. School, Focal Point, Jamalpur)
Second Prize: - Jashanpreet Singh (Kundan Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines)
Third Prize:  Aayushi, (Alpinewood public school and Nishtha Seth (Delhi World Public school)
Appreciation Prize:  Komal (International Public School, Shubham Enclave)
