Verma Club emerges victorious in Rishi Brothers T-20 Open Chandigarh Cricket Tournament

Chandigarh, March 22, 2024:  The 4 day Open T-20 Cricket Tournament organised by Bollywood & Pollywood Actors Sachin Rishi and Rajiv Rishi at Mahajan Cricket Ground, Kishangarh, Chandigarh witnessed an exhilarating display of talent from teams across the nation. 

The inaugural Rishi Brothers T-20 Open Chandigarh Cricket Tournament culminated in a thrilling finale today as Verma Club secured a resounding victory over Aujla Club, marking a historic moment in Chandigarh's cricketing legacy.  

In an intense showdown, Aujla Club batted first, posting a competitive total of 117 runs after 20 overs. Ayush Chamola's stellar performance contributed significantly, scoring an impressive 76 runs. Verma Club's bowler, Ravi, showcased exceptional skill, taking 4 crucial wickets during Aujla Club's innings.

During the chase, Verma Club's Dipin Chitkara displayed remarkable prowess, scoring an unbeaten 67 runs. With a determined effort, Verma Club clinched victory, chasing down the target of 118 runs in just 15 overs. Dipin Chitkara's outstanding performance earned him the well-deserved title of Man of the Match. Additionally, Ayush Chamola was conferred with the 'Batsman of the Tournament' award for his remarkable contributions throughout the event, while Sombir Deswal was recognized as the 'Bowler of the Tournament' for his exceptional bowling skills.
