Vet Varsity signs an MoU with Agrinnovate India Limited

Ludhiana, September 28, 2023: Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Agrinnovate India Limited, New Delhi, marking a collaborative effort for the Technology Transfer and Commercialization of the University’s technologies.
The MoU was signed by Dr. JPS Gill, Director of Research and Dr. Praveen Malik, CEO of Agrinnovate India Limited. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice-chancellor, Dr. HS Banga, Registrar, Dr. YPS Malik, Dean College of Animal Biotechnology Dr. SPS Ghuman, Dean College of Veterinary Sciences, Dr. SK Uppal, Dean Postgraduate Studies along with other officers of the university and HoDs. Dr. Praveen Malik provided insights into the commercialization process during the event. Vet Varsity presented technologies with significant potential for commercialization to the attendees.
Dr Inderjeet Singh, Vice-chancellor emphasized the utility of technology transfer and commercialization in animal sciences and the need of driving innovation from the laboratory to practical applications with tangible benefits. He added that through strategic partnerships and collaborations, universities and research institutions can transfer cutting-edge technologies and research findings to industry players.
