Vidya Balan Designed Her Own Look In ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’

Actress Vidya Balan, who is known for making saree fashionable once more in Bollywood, will be next seen in a very different avatar in upcoming film ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’.
A source attached to the film unit said, “Vidya plays a modern housewife in the film and as such, she was required to have a cool and casual attire. Vidya herself sat with the costume department people and added her inputs about how her look should shape up. Vidya knew that as she was playing a working woman-turned-housewife, she could not go overboard with the glam quotient and hence had to work towards finding the perfect balance between the two.” The source further added that the look that she sports in the film was locked after many brainstorming sessions in which Vidya actively participated with the stylists and designers.
“Her inputs about clothes and the kind of jewelry that she is seen wearing in the film were quite helpful and many of her suggestions were used in the film.
