VIDYA BALAN SPEAKS ABOUT CHILD ADOPTION, IN AN ENDEARING MONOLOGUE

Adopting a child in India comes with its own set of societal pressures and issues. Outside of the long & tiring ordeal of the adoption process itself, there exist a host of concerns which include the fear of being left alone by this adopted child at an old age, not being able to connect with the child on an emotional level, etc. But here, one often forgets to see the bright side to the situation. There are lakhs of orphan children who deserve a home, loving parents, caring environment and much more. Actress and RJ Vidya Balan, who has spoken about various critical issues on her show Muthoot Blue ‘Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho with Vidya Balan’, has come up with an endearing monologue in which she is seen encouraging the parents to opt for child adoption and explains how the wonderful deed can increase the happiness quotient in their lives.

In the video, the talented actress can be seen talking about the innocence of kids and the joy that they bring along with them. She motivates the parents to change their mindset and see these kids as their own. Speaking about the issue, Vidya Balan said, “According to me, everyone should adopt a kid. Imagine a world where all these orphaned children are adopted, how beautiful it will be. One has the chance to add a quality in the life of these kids by simply adopting them.”
