Vikram Singh appointed as Chief of University Security, PU

Chandigarh, July 5, 2024: The Competent Authority of Panjab University, Chandigarh has appointed Vikram Singh as Chief of University Security, PU.

Vikram has been serving Panjab University, Chandigarh from last 16 years.  Prior to the joining of the University, he served Indian Air Force for 20 years on various posts like Technical Instructor, crew leader, and operational officer in the missile system at various strategic locations. He handled confidential correspondences with regard to security of government property. During the Kargil Operation/Ops Vijay in 1999, he led the OSA-AK (M) missile system at the front border, safeguarding the airfield at Air Force Station Uttarlai. He also served an Operation Officer during Ops Rakshak, protecting the airfield at Air Station Awantipur.

Vikram is a Law Graduate from Panjab University. He is M.A. in Public Administration, MBA in HRD, BE in Electronics Radio Communication.
