‘Boroplus Gold Awards powered by Dabur Babool Salt Toothpaste’ honors Kishore Kumar, Mehmood and Govinda

We have all grown up watching them onscreen where they have made us giggle, guffaw and laugh out loud! This year Zee TV’s ‘Boroplus Gold Awards powered by Dabur Babool Salt Toothpaste’ honours three of Bollywood’s greatest funny men – Kishore Kumar, Mehmood and Govinda. This performance has three of television’s most good looking men banter and fight over the lovely Roopal Tyagi (Gunjan in Sapna Suhane Ladakpan Ke). Who are these three men you ask? They are Vikrant Massey as Kishore Kumar, Karan Wahi as Mehmood and Chaitanya Choudhary as Govinda.

“This opportunity is certainly unique as I will be playing Kishore Kumar” says Vikrant (Ayaan in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai) about his performance at the awards show. “Karan, Chaitanya and I will be trying our best to woo Roopal. Who wins her hand in the end is another thing altogether! Viewers will definitely have to wait and watch how this turns out. This is the first time I am performing at the Gold Awards. It has been a lot of fun rehearsing with my co-actors. As kids, we have laughed our hearts out at the hilarious antics of these great actors. It is an honour to be able to pay a tribute to them.”

The 6th Boroplus Gold Awards is back this year with new performers and a list of dazzling performances. With stars like Karan Singh Grover, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Gurmeet Chaudhary, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Mouni Roy, Sanaya Irani and many others slated to perform, it promises to be another exciting show!
