Jalandhar, July 12, 2022: Ivy World Playschool, Civil Lines organized an educational thematic excursion to McDonalds for the tiny tots under the superior guidance of the management of the school, Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, Vice President Ena Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal, Director Aditi Vasal, Principal Sanjeev Chauhan and Headmistress Shefali Sharma.
Ivy World Playschool believes in the ideology of experiential learning and thus took students outside the four walls of the classroom to give them practical learning experience. A host of learning-based activities was conducted for the students creating a splendid aura of magnificent erudition. This venture aimed at giving an exposure to the young Ivyians about the Etiquettes and mannerism to be followed while dining, learning to place orders at a restaurant and knowledge about monetary transactions. They got to know about how to order different varieties of food. Through this educational excursion, tiny tots learnt about different life skills such as taking turns, how to be responsible at public places, how to handle cash and do the monetary transactions. They assimilated how to greet people politely. Children were given an opportunity to visit the kitchen of McDonalds where they saw the process of preparation of the food items, kitchenware, appliances used in the making. The visit also included a scrumptious lunch treat.
It was altogether a learning with fun experience for the children. The enthusiastic participation of Ivyians was highly acknowledged and appreciated by the parents, school and the management.
