Dharamsala, July 27, 2014: Himachal road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has started two new luxury buses in Himachal from Sunday, the birthday of the Himachal Transport Minister G S Bali.
Mecleodganj-Chandigarh Volvo service will run daily from Mecleodganj at 6.15 am to reach Chandigarh at 1 pm. The bus will start its journey back at 3.40 pm to reach Mecleodganj at 11 PM. Similarly another AC bus will run daily from Chamba at 7.10 am from Chamba to reach Shimla at 9.00 PM and it will move from Shimla daily at 6.30 am to reach Chamba at 7 pm.
Bali started these services today at Kangra near Dharamsala.
“We are committed to provide luxury road travel to Himachalis as there is negligible rail service in this hill state,” said Bali.
