Voters should be cautious of vote-cutting parties, independent candidates in the fray at the behest of BJP: MP Deepender Hooda
MP Deepender Hooda today cautioned voters to look out for vote-cutting parties and independent candidates in the fray at the behest of BJP, who have only entered the polls to help the BJP by splitting the anti-incumbency vote.
Rohtak, September 17, 2024. MP Deepender Hooda today cautioned voters to look out for vote-cutting parties and independent candidates in the fray at the behest of BJP, who have only entered the polls to help the BJP by splitting the anti-incumbency vote.
Deepender Hooda today appealed for votes by campaigning vigorously in favour of Congress candidate Balram Dangi from Meham assembly constituency. He appealed to make the Congress candidate victorious by holding public meetings in villages Farmana Khas, Saiman, Bhaini Surjan, Bhaini Chandrapal and other villages of the constituency.
Warning voters to be cautious of BJP's conspiracies, he said in this election, vote-cutter parties and independent candidates have entered the fray at the behest of the BJP. “BJP has made an agreement with INLD, JJP, HLP as vote-cutters. BJP has hatched a conspiracy to deceive the people of Haryana again by forming a B-team,” he said.
“There is no difference between BJP, JJP, INLD, HLP, their truth has come out. Last time in the 2019 assembly elections, when Gopal Kanda of HLP supported BJP, BJP did not take his support citing his image. This time, BJP withdrew its candidate in support of the same Gopal Kanda, why so,” he questioned.
“In Haryana, Congress will face BJP, and JJP and INLD will compete with NOTA. Last time JJP asked for votes in the name of helping BJP cross Yamuna, but when the time came, it sat in BJP's lap with its 10 MLAs. Therefore, if BJP has to be thrown out of power, then make Congress candidates win, there is no assurance about the candidates of independent or other parties as to where they will go after the elections,” he said. MP Jai Prakash JP was also present on this occasion.
MP Deepender Hooda said Haryana was number 1 in per capita income, investment, schemes for the welfare of the poor, schemes for the benefit of farmers till 2014 and was moving towards prosperity. “That Haryana was brought to number 1 in unemployment, crime, corruption, drug addiction by BJP-JJP. In 10 years, the BJP government has derailed the state from the track of development,” he said.
“Today, we can see ponds in the roads instead of potholes, development does not happen by just putting up hoardings. BJP has not only made a record in unemployment, crime, corruption, but also in insulting people and arrogance. There is no class left which has not been insulted by this government,” he added.
“Farmers sat on dharna for more than 1 year, MNREGA workers, players, watchmen, employees, sarpanch, women, Asha workers, elderly and even children had to protest on the streets against this government. BJP-JJP has cheated the elderly of the state the most, their alliance was not on the pension of Rs 5100 but on the exemption of loot in Haryana,” he stated.
Deepender said the elderly will get Rs 6000 per month old age pension, 300 units of free electricity to every family, LPG cylinder for women at Rs 500, old pension scheme for employees, treatment up to Rs 25 lakh will be given at government expense when Congress government is formed in the state.
He assured that the Congress would provide Guarantee of MSP and highest price to farmers, timely recruitment of eligible Haryanvi youths on 2 lakh vacant government posts, free 100-yard plot and 2 room house at the cost of Rs 3.5 lakh to poor families, income limit of creamy layer of backward classes will be raised to 10 lakh, sanitation workers, rural chowkidars, MNREGA mates will be made permanent.
“The Padak Lao, Pad Pao policy will be implemented again for sportspersons, caste census will be conducted, the people of Haryana will be given freedom from anti-people portals. Haryana will be made No.1 in development, investment, education, health by making Haryana drug-free and crime-free,” he promised.
