Wagons derail in Bengal when two goods trains collide

Bankura, June 25 (HS): Several wagons from two goods trains derailed after colliding early this morning in West Bengal's Bankura. The accident occurred near the Onda station in Bengal.

According to authorities, one train struck the other from behind while both were stopped.

"Preliminary evidence indicates that one of the goods trains was standing when it was struck by the other goods train. More information will be released following a thorough investigation,? according to Onda Station safety officer Dibakar Majhi. Rail service on the Kharagpur-Bankura-Adra line has been interrupted as a result of the incident.
