Dharamshala, February 15, 2019: Martyr Tilak Raj’s father Rama Ram and mother Bimala Devi said today that “we are proud that our son laid down his life for the country. We have lost our son but we want Pakistan to be given a forceful reply so that Pak could not gather such courage again”.
The family of the martyr has demanded from the state government that both the sons of martyr be given government jobs when achieved the appropriate age.
30-years-old martyr Tilak Raj lost his life in the terrorists’ attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. The news of the death of martyr Tilak Raj of Panchayat Nana, under the sub-division Jawali, has led to widespread grief in entire Jawali and Nana Panchayat.
The martyr Tilak Raj was working in CRPF in Srinagar. He had born on May 2, 1988 and joined CRPF in the year 2007.
Congress and BJP have supported CM Jayaram Thakur’s announcement of Rs.20 lakhs to the martyr’s family. On the other hand, the Food Supply Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Kishan Kapoor and MLA Arjun Singh, met the grieved family members of the martyr today , and gave a cheque of Rs.5 lakhs for the family as immediate help.
