"We welcome the Delhi government Move to fight pollution, new policy by delhi govt to encourage use of electric vehicles from private to public transport and good carriage. This EV policy welcome for reducing Fossil Fuel pollution. Hope the Govt focuses on walking as a very important element in mobility.
This new approach” was required to kick-start Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption in Delhi and sought to put in place several measures that address the “key hurdles to EV adoption” and, simultaneously, target that 25% of all new vehicle registrations be electric by the year 2023.
About 30% of particulate pollution in winter is caused by vehicles. Rapid adoption of zero-emission electric vehicles is therefore of great importance to Delhi. Recognising the need for a new approach to kick-start electric vehicle adoption."
