Weather gets pleasant

Ludhiana, August 25, 2012: Weather gets pleasant after rain in Ludhiana city. Residents felt a sigh of relief from heat and humidity.

Rain started at around 12-30 pm today. It was still on till filing of this report at around 1 pm

Routine life was affected due to the rain. Several low-lying areas were seen inundated with the rain water. Similar was the scene in several posh localities.

Besides pedestrians, those driving two-wheelers face difficulties in passing through the stagnant rain water.

Children were seen enjoying the rain. They were seen playing in the rain certain parts of the city. Huge rush was witnessed at tea stalls where people were seen sipping cups of tea while watching rain outside.
