Web conference held with chief commissioner of customs (preventive) north zone
Assures full cooperation to fix problems of exporters
Ludhiana: A Web Conference was held with Ranjana Jha, IRS, Chief Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), North Zone along with all the commissioner of North India i.e. A.S Ranga, IRS, Commissioner, Customs Commisisonerate, Ludhiana and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary CICU.
Leading Exporters of North India attended the Web Conference to share their issues, like GST Refunds.
The Web Conference was organized to expedite and guide the exporters about the problems being faced by them.
During the lockdown period, the Customs Commisisonerate, Ludhiana played a very important and positive role in helping exporters by guiding them about documentations and and stuffing the Goods in the Containers.
Ranjana Jha, IRS, Chief Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), North Zone assured that the full cooperation will be given to fix the problems of the Exporters and also said that all the pending IGST refunds will be expediting within this week.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU emphasized the need of expatriating the refunds keeping in mind lack of working capital with the entrepreneurs.
It is also required that refunds should be paid within one week keeping in mind that the exporters have a lot of financial crunch.
