Jalandhar: The Department of Punjabi of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a webinar on Adabi Kafila. Padam Shree Dr. Surjeet Patar (Eminent Punjabi Poet & President Punjab Arts Council, Chandigarh), Mr. Satnam Singh Manak (Executive Editor, Ajit Group of Publication), Ms. Sukhwiner Amrit (Eminent Punjabi Poet) and Mr. Deepak Bali (General Secretary, Punjab Jagriti Manch) joined and enhanced the webinar as worthy panellists. 
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma expressed her immense pleasure to have all the panellists amongst them. She put forth that it is our deem honour and pleasure and dream come true to have Surjeet Patar Ji with them and to see him reciting poetry live before them. The college has been trying to reach him out from a pretty long time lately but due to his responsibilities as a Chairman of Punjab Arts Council, the meeting with him somehow could not happen. She added all the panellists are working and have accomplished various achievements in their respective fields and are the versatile personalities who are promoting Punjabi Language and Culture. She thanked them for their valuable thoughts and time as it gave our students and faculty members as well to learn something new and perceive Punjabi Language from the different angle.
Padam Shree Dr. Surjeet Patar talking about the poetry put forth that poetry represents the actual life and emotions of a person. A true poet cannot lie about his personality when it comes to express it in the form of poetry. He expressed his connection with nature; which6 is also prominently seen in his poetry, not only during today’s COVID-19 times but since very childhood. He also recited his verses written during the time affected by COVID-19.
 Mr. Satnam Singh Manak expressed his views on today’s situations and also recited his poem Muh Chupande Firde Aa written by him recently which talked mainly of how disillusioned human being is when he thinks himself to be the most powerful on the earth and thinks that they can overpower nature. Talking about the journalism, he advised students to choose this profession only when you are truly passionate about it and then only you will be able to serve the society in the best possible manner.
Ms. Sukhwiner Amrit shared her journey about writing verses from the earlier times and how it developed in the later years. She also recited a beautiful poem Maawa ate Dheea which talked about beautiful relationship between mother and daughter.
Mr. Deepak Bali who is consistently seen making efforts to promote Punjabi Culture put forth that no matter where you reach in life and what part of world you are in, one should never forget their roots and should always follow their tradition and culture.
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma congratulated all the members of Department of Punjabi for their efforts and successfully organising this webinar.
