Chandigarh, September 12, 2024: The Department of Community Education and Disability Studies, Panjab University organised a Webinar on the topic ‘Technical Writing Practice for Education’ today.
The resource person for the webinar was Dr. Umang Garg, Associate Professor, Computer Science and Engineering, MT ADT University, Pune, Maharashtra. The resource person began the lecture by highlighting various assistive devices and technologies and its usage at larger scale.
Dr.Umang Garg discussed the importance of technical writing by focusing on the research article writing. Participants were given an overview of scientific research and related processes. They got an opportunity to explore using research assistance tools like Madeley, Grammarly, Latex, Turnitin etc. Also, the importance of publishing articles in quality journals (UGC-CARE, Scopus indexed Journals, Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Journals, etc) was discussed.
