Chandigarh, April 17, 2025: The Department of Community Education and Disability Studies, Panjab University today organised a webinar on the theme “Research Ethics and Plagiarism”. 

Dr Tausif Alam, Assistant Professor, Department of Teacher Training and Non Formal Education, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi delivered the lecture by greeting the students and teachers. He introduced the conceptual framework of Research and the ethics of Educational Research. He also explained scope of educational research in special education and highlighted that how the action research is important in our day to day life and in further education. Dr Alam emphasised on the basic components and issues of ethics that is important in conducting the research at all level. He introduced about the qualitative and quantitative data of research which must be used honestly in research. 

Prof. (Dr) Navleen Kaur, Nitin Raj and other faculty members were present in the webinar. They shared their experiences and added their views on practical aspects of educational research and statistics. At the end, Dr. Md Saifur Rahman, presented the vote of thanks. It was an interactive and informative session for everyone.
