Jalandhar: A webinar was organized for the students at DIPS Co-Edu college Dhilwan. Dr. Balpreet Kaur, Assistant professor was the chief speaker at this Webinar. College coordinator Harpreet Kaur and Assistant professor Rohini supervised the seminar.
Dr. Balpreet stated the importance of E-Commerce and mentioned that in the beginning E- Commerce was less used in India but now days in hi-tech times E-Commerce is the medium of shopping in almost all houses and other day to day items. People are using e-commerce to expand their business. E-Commerce has a significant role in Digital India. However, India has different conditions than the other countries. So, India has multifarious challenges in the field of e-commerce which need to be solved. In other countries due to E- Commerce in many parts of the worlds business has expanded.
MD Tarwinder Singh and CEO Monica Mandotra remarked that during the pandemic people have great faith in E-Commerce due to which not only in the country but in the whole world E-Commerce has a vital role and contribution. Today people are reluctant to go to the market and do shopping. They prefer online shopping for their own safely. This has not only given an opportunity of employment to many people but also has made lifestyle simple and easy.
