January, January 4, 2022: A one-day webinar on the topic of IPR was organized at Dips College of Education Rarra Morr. Dr. Rajinder Kumar Gupta, Assistant Professor, RK Arya College, Nawanshahr attended the webinar as the keynote speaker.
Giving information about Intellectual Property Rights first of all, Dr. Rajinder said that this right has been given by the government to everyone, through which we can protect our invention and creativity from being stolen.
Giving information about the different types of IP, he said that it includes patents, copyrights etc. Every country has different criteria for getting a patent. For this the thing invented or written, the trade mark etc. should be new. The advantage of this is that if any other person uses our thing or trade mark etc., then action can be taken against him.
Principal Jyoti Gupta thanked Dr. Rajinder for making the students aware of this important information.
