Welcome party for newly enrolled students of MA Music

Jalandhar, October 8, 2019: A welcome party was organized by the PG Department of Music, Lyallpur Khalsa College for the newly enrolled students of MA Music and the mega event saw an active participation of over 200 students.
College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra graced the program as chief guest and he was duly welcomed to the program by Prof. Sukhdev Singh HOD Music and the entire faculty of the department of Music.
Students took active part in events such as Music, Modelling, Dance, Bhangra, Games wherein Akaash (MA Music), Robin (BA) were adjudged as Mr.Fresher and Vandana (MA Music) and Elka (BA) were chosen as Miss Fresher. Gagan Bali and Navjot were also given special honours on this occasion. The judgment was done by Prof.Ahuja Sandeep, Prof.Gitanjali Moudgil and Dr. Surinder Mand.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra appreciated the key role played by the Department of Music behind the immense success attained by the college in the Youth Festival and similar cultural events. The stage on this occasion was managed by Hardeep Singh, Akash and Vandana (students of the department). Vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Sukhdev Singh, HOD, Music.
The occasion was also witnessed by Prof.Gurchetan Singh, Prof.Rupali and Monia along with other members of the faculty.
