Dharamshala, October 17, 2014: After the work as the middle man in West Indian players problem with their board, the west Indian team though agreed to play the 4th ODI at Dharamshala but eventually called off their current tour to India after Dharamshala ODI.

BCCI joint secretary and the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association president Anurag Thakur said, all other boards around the world will now think twice before hosting the West Indies after they abruptly ended the India tour on Friday. The tourists will now not play the fifth ODI, the one-off T20 International and the three Tests against India.

Thakur said, “India will also think if they should play with the West Indies again in the future.” Earlier, the BCCI said it was shocked and disappointed at the West Indies players' decision to end the tour midway after failing to resolve pay disputes with the WICB.
