Chandigarh, April 3, 2024: Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh conducted White Coat Ceremony for the student of Batch 2022 and 2023 on Wednesday at the Law Auditorium, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The White Coat Ceremony was graced by Prof. A.K. Attri, Director Principal, GMCH- 32, Chandigarh. He motivated the students by his pearls of wisdom and his personal experiences. He urged the students to find joy in what they have come to pursue and this will help them make mark in this noble profession.
Prof. Y.P. Verma, Registrar, Panjab University and Prof. Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examinations, Panjab University also graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. The faculty of the Dental Institute, approximately 215 undergraduate and postgraduate students and their parents participated in the Ceremony.
Prof. Deepak Kumar Gupta, Principal-cum-Professor administered Maharishi Charak Shapath to BDS and MDS students. Few Students also shared their experience of being part of the Institute.
It was a momentous day for the Dental Institute as it marked 18 years since its inception on 3.4.2006.
