Why did Siddharth Malhotra fail in his 9th grade? Revealed in The Kapil Sharma Show

The actors who graced the sets to promote their upcoming movie, ‘Jabariya Jodi’ spilled a lot of beans on stories ranging right from their childhood to their time as actors. Out of the many stories, the one that caught everyone’s attention was when Siddharth Malhotra revealed that he flunked in his 9th standard because of girls.

Siddharth who made a mark with his debut movie, ‘Student of the Year’, gathered a lot of fan following majorly amongst the girls. His cute but intense looks, chiseled physique, acting skills and a dynamic personality were enough to melt any girl and Siddharth is quiet successful in doing so. During his presence on the show, Kapil asked him to clear the rumor about him failing the 9th grade to which Siddharth confirmed by saying, “Yes, this is true. I was a part of an all-boys school in my 9th grade. But this turned out to be a positive thing in my life as I was eventually moved to a co-ed school where there were girls as well as boys. Later in my 10th and 11th grade I passed with good grades.”

Further in the show, Kapil asked Parineeti who is very fond of gadgets to associate the actors with any gadget that matches the respective personality. Parineeti associated Siddharth Malhotra with smart phone, Ranbir Kapoor with AC, Govinda with mixer grinder, Varun Dhavan with battery, Ranveer Singh with popcorn machine, Archana with the latest Iphone and Kapil with Nokia 1310.
