As just less than 12 days are left for the polls in Canada for the Federal Elections it seems that the political scenario has certainly heated up. Prime Minister of Canada had announced the Federal Elections two years earlier. As for the second time he has been in office for less than two years and Covid-19 pandemic had really affected the economy sharply due to the closure of business establishments and transfer of funds to the people of Canada during the days of pandemic for their livelihood. Apart from this, the main source of generating revenue was through tourism. Students throughout the world had the opportunity to study in Canada and then easily get PR (Permanent Residency). Interesting, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had announced of 12 lakh PRs in four years, but the recent orders of the Canadian Minister for Immigration announcing PR to mostly those to Canada Experience Class residing in Canada and ignoring the PR to Federal Skilled workers.  What were the reasons behind it the Liberal Party Canada knows better. Justin Trudeau is facing resentment from the masses during his campaign. Even though Justin Trudeau may be thinking of big chunk of votes of Asians to be polled to him but the New Democratic Party led by Jagmeet Singh is also in the fray. If the percentage of votes of New Democratic Party increases from the past performance of votes polled the loss can be to the Liberal Party of Canada. The Conservative Party of Canada Leader Erin Michael O’Toole is also hopeful as the recent surveys conducted by the various agencies clearly indicate a mere two percent gap between the Liberals and Conservatives. The Bloc Quebecois Party Leader Yves-Francois Blanchet is also hopeful that his party will perform better. If the number of Seats as indicated by the surveys turn to reality it will clear that Canada can once again witness a Coalition Federal Government which cannot be ruled out. The major issues of the Asians are PR (Permanent Residency) in Canada, PR to the Real Blood Family Members, students who are in Canada and have completed their education be given PR, easy visa for the tourists who have their relatives in Canada and the Federal Skilled Workers category who is waiting for their turn are hopeful in the Canada Express Entry policy. If Justin Trudeau returns to power then people are hopeful that he will review the Immigration Policy and open the doors to more immigrants. Nothing can be predicted in politics that when friends become foes and foes become friends sidelining the ideology and form coalition government. Still, there is time to wait and watch as political scenario changes time to time before the polling date 20th September, 2021.
