COMMITTED TO PROVIDE ALL POSSIBLE SUPPORT TO SPORTSPERSONS: ADC (GENERAL) IQBAL SINGH SANDHU
Ludhiana, March 8, 2019: On the occasion of International Women Day, the district administration today honoured 8 women athletes, who have brought accolades in various international and national events. The athletes honoured by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Iqbal Singh Sandhu today included Charanjit Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Baljit Kaur, Samita Ahuja, Sunita, Sharanjit Kaur, Rajinder Kaur and Amanpreet Kaur.
After seeing their commitment towards sports, ADC (G) Iqbal Singh Sandhu said that the district administration as well as the state government is fully committed for providing all possible support to the sportspersons.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included District Sports Officer Ravinder Singh, DPRO Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal, Athletics Coach Sanjeev Sharma, besides several others.
